Mountain Action on Noise/Speed Control (Hamilton)

Here's an update on our recent activities and the reorganization of the ACORN Hamilton Mountain Chapter.

On October 9th, we successfully re-launched our chapter at the Huntington Park Rec Centre. The turnout was fantastic, and we are excited about the energy and commitment from our members. We’ve identified crucial priorities, including rent control, eviction support, improved public transit, and traffic safety.

As part of our ongoing efforts, we have a significant action planned for October 22nd. We will be petitioning for essential traffic safety measures on Mohawk Road, including speed reductions and enhanced pedestrian crossings. Your involvement is vital, and we encourage you to join us in making our neighborhoods safer.
