Outreach Worker (Calgary)
Job Summary:
Calgary ACORN is looking for outreach canvassers to help with housing justice campaigning and fundraising.
Job description:
- Phone calling, street outreach, door to door canvassing.
- 30 hours per week in afternoons and evenings with some Saturdays.
- Wage is 17.12 per hour with a potential increase based on tenure and experience.
- Potential for full time work exists.
Qualifications and Skills
Be willing to work in a team setting that you are sometimes leading, and sometimes following.
Ability to listen in order to identify issues that are affecting our constituency.
No paid experience required, but applicants with outreach experience are desired.
