London Slummies Award Ceremony

London’s worst landlords are about to find out where they rank. On Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 1 PM, London ACORN will gather at Victoria Park, at the Dufferin and Wellington entrance, for the return of the Slummies, the awards for London’s worst landlords, decided by the tenants who live with them. Tenants have been nominating and voting for the landlords who left them waiting on repairs, ignored mold, or let pests take over, and the winners will be announced at the event. Members will also display the stack of landlord licensing petitions they have collected across the city and share tenant testimonies. With the municipal election on October 26, ACORN members are showing candidates exactly what tenants are dealing with and why London needs landlord licensing.
