Budget Deputation Workshop

Every November, Calgarians have the opportunity to speak directly to City Council during the City’s public budget hearings. This year’s hearings are especially important because the City is setting its four-year budget, which will shape Calgary’s priorities and spending for the next four years.

Join us for our first Budget Deputation Workshop to get ready to have your voice heard at City Hall. We’ll walk through how the public hearing process works, help you sign up to give a deputation and discuss how YOU can influence and advocate at City Hall for polices that protect low income renters!

Whether you’re brand new to ACORN or ready to speak publicly, this workshop will help you feel informed, confident, and prepared.
