McWatters Protest to Drop AGI (Ottawa)

Homestead has hit over 300 tenants on McWatters Road with rent increases as high as 11%, despite making millions in profit every year.

These rent hikes are unfair — and the McWatters ACORN Tenant Union is fighting back. That's why ACORN members organized a rally to make some noise then march to Homestead’s office to deliver a letter of demands.

This is our chance to stand up for fair rents and show Homestead that tenants won’t back down. The more of us who show up, the louder our message will be.
