NB ACORN Rally for Ending Legislated Poverty

Posted October 18, 2024

NB ACORN teamed up with the New Brunswick Coalition for Persons with Disabilities and Common Front for Social Justice to hold a Rally on the UN International Day for the Eradication of Poverty!

With around 75 Attendees and speakers ranging from Labour Organizers to Non-Profit Leaders, a wide range of voices were heard! The rally emphasized that no matter your background, poverty affects us all who are low- to moderate-income. We need to push back as people and fight for a province worth investing our time into! We spoke from heart to hand, as we stood in solidarity with each other, telling the crowd, news, and people of the province, to vote for change this Monday the 21st of October: VOTE OUT HIGGS AND THE CONSERVATIVES!
