ACORN gathered in the cold in both Moncton and Fredericton today to say NO to power hikes, winter disconnections, and fossil fuels!
Members shared their stories, talked to the media, and let it be known that we need AFFORDABLE ENERGY NOW!
With winter coming, many of us who rely on electric heating are facing a cold and expensive season. Folks in other provinces pay much less for their heating and electricity, many even offer rebates or credits to help households keep the lights on in the winter months. NB ACORN is fighting for the same!

ACORN s’est rassemblé dans le froid aujourd’hui à Moncton et à Fredericton pour dire NON aux hausses de prix de l’électricité, aux déconnexions hivernales et aux combustibles fossiles !
Les membres ont partagé leurs histoires, ont parlé aux médias et ont fait entendre haut et fort qu’on a besoin d’ÉNERGIE ABORDABLE MAINTENANT !
Avec l’hiver qui arrive, beaucoup de gens qui utilisent le chauffage électrique vont faire face à une saison froide et dispendieuse. Dans d’autres provinces, le monde paye beaucoup moins cher pour le chauffage et l’électricité, et plusieurs offrent même des rabais ou des crédits pour aider les familles à payer leurs factures d’électricité pendant l’hiver. ACORN NB lutte pour la même chose!
