New Brunswick Raise the Social Assistance Rates Rallies in Moncton and Fredericton.

New Brunswick ACORN tackled two cities at once to fight against legislative poverty this Friday!

Dozens of members attended the rallies to demand that officials raise the rates of social assistance rates to a livable income. We gave speeches to the press, chanted for change, and stood up against the mistreatment we are facing as everyday New Brunswickers.

We know how hard it is to live on $11,000 a year, how much you have to sacrifice to sustain yourself, and how no one should go through that any longer!
