NB ACORN Labour Day Picnic

NB unions held their annual Labour Day Picnic in Dieppe! ACORN partook, sharing in solidarity and snacks, while keeping up the good vibes!
20 members came and held a raffle for a box of fresh garden vegetables, with a ticket available to anyone who signed our Affordable Energy NOW! petition or filled out our heat and housing tenant survey. They raised over 50 signatures in under two hours!
Looking forward to another year of hard, collaborative work with our siblings in the labour movement.
Les syndicats Néo-Brunswiquois ont organisé leur pique-nique annuel de la Fête du Travail à Dieppe ! ACORN y a participé, partageant sa solidarité et des gâteries, tout en gardant la bonne humeur !
20 membres ont participé et organisé un tirage au sort pour gagner un panier de légumes frais du jardin. Pour obtenir un billet, il suffisait de signer notre pétition « énergie abordable dès maintenant ! » ou de remplir notre sondage pour les locataires sur le chauffage et le logement. Ils ont collecté plus de 50 signatures en moins de deux heures !
On a hâte de passer une autre année à travailler fort en collaboration avec nos frères et sœurs du mouvement syndical.
