The Housing Standards Survey takes 10 minutes to fill out and will help ACORN show what conditions are really like in New Brunswick apartments.

Here is what ACORN Co-Chair Peter Jongeneelen has to say about our survey:
“We talk so much about housing being unaffordable that people may be overlooking that the conditions in some rental properties are well below what should be legal health and safety standards. Rodents, broken appliances, lack of fire safety – you name it and it’s happening to New Brunswick tenants. ACORN has done these surveys in other cities around the country. The results often show that many tenants are living in substandard conditions and then helped us push apartment standards enforcement programs like the landlord rental registry that just passed in Halifax.”
