On Fri, April 5th 200 ACORN supporters from unions, non-profits and political groups as well as your regular trivia buffs and craft beer gurus attended Ottawa ACORN’s 5th annual fundraiser – Trivial Beersuit! / Le vendredi 5 avril, 200 supporteurs d’ACORN de syndicats, groupes de non-but lucratifs, groupes politiques, ainsi que vos habituels amateurs de trivia et gourous de la bière artisanale ont assisté à la cinquième édition du levé-de-fond d’Ottawa ACORN – Trivial Beersuit!

On Fri, April 5th 200 ACORN supporters from unions, non-profits and political groups as well as your regular trivia buffs and craft beer gurus attended Ottawa ACORN’s 5th annual fundraiser – Trivial Beersuit! City Hall was packed to the max with trivia teams decked out in outlandish costumes, over 35 silent auction items up for bid, 4 craft beer breweries, a food vendor, ACORN swag tables and dozens of ACORN staff and volunteers.
On behalf of everyone at Ottawa ACORN we want to give a special thanks to the following groups that because of their generosity helped us raise over $22,700 to support our low income members’ organizing programs for social and economic justice! With no big checks from government and big corporations we rely on your support.

Le vendredi 5 avril, 200 supporteurs d’ACORN de syndicats, groupes de non-but lucratifs, groupes politiques, ainsi que vos habituels amateurs de trivia et gourous de la bière artisanale ont assisté à la cinquième édition du levé-de-fond d’Ottawa ACORN – Trivial Beersuit! L’hôtel de ville était rempli au max avec des équipes de trivia costumées, plus de 35 items d’enchère silencieuse, 4 brassieres de biere artisanale, un vendeur de nourriture, des tables d’articles ACORN et une douzaine de personnel et bénévoles d’ACORN.
Au nom de tous les membres d’ACORN à Ottawa, nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement les groupes suivants qui, grâce à leur générosité, nous ont aidés à amasser plus de 22 700 $ pour soutenir les programmes de syndicalisation des membres à faible revenu pour la justice sociale et économique! Sans grands chèques du gouvernement et des grandes entreprises, nous comptons sur votre soutien.
