Alberta ACORN and Calgary’s Future hold bootcamp on Affordable Housing in Calgary in preparation for City Council vote

On the 9th of September, at the Good Neighbour Community Market Alberta ACORN and Calgary’s Future, hosted an Affordable Housing Bootcamp to discuss solutions to Calgary’s housing crisis. The event had workshops on tenant unions, zoning and deputing to city council ahead of the vote on the city of Calgary’s Housing Task Force recommendations.
Over 100 people turned out to the event including Calgary’s Ward 8 Councillor Courtney Walcott.
