ACORN launches Calgary Landlord Licensing Campaign

Calgary ACORN has officially kicked off our Landlord Licensing Campaign! Tenants came together to share stories, learn from each other, and start building the fight for a system that holds landlords accountable and protects renters from unsafe and unhealthy housing.

The province’s complaint system is broken—and tenants are paying the price. That’s why we’re demanding the City of Calgary step up with a landlord licensing program: annual inspections, real standards, fines for violations, and transparency for renters.
