ACORN’s new report finds devastating impacts of fixed term leases in Nova Scotia.
In February of 2024, the ACORN Tenant Union put out a survey of people on Fixed Term Leases to get a clearer idea of who is renting on these leases and how this practice is affecting tenants.
After receiving nearly 300 responses from across the province, this report presents the first look at the extent and impact of Fixed Term Lease use in Nova Scotia.
