Weston ACORN Healthy Homes Phone Action Victory! Update for 1465 Lawrence Ave

After our healthy homes action in February – ACORN member Barbara now has new floor, fixed doors, new paint, and the elevators are now working! 

 

Before our action – Barbara was dealing with repairs never being done and she was living with broken floor, mould, and so many other issues in her unit. Barbara is a single mom who was living with all of these issues while her son was doing virtual school from home.

 

AND there was also only one working elevator for the entire building! 

 

Weston ACORN are going to be watching closely to make sure Starlight continues to fix the building – direct action WORKS!
