West End / Dundas Chapter Officially Launches
Posted October 13, 2026
Residents from across the West Hamilton and Dundas area gathered to officially launch the West End / Dundas ACORN chapter. The meeting was an indication that residents are committed and eager to organize around the issues that matter the most to them in their neighborhood. Folks were in high spirits, and the energy in the room was electric.
Members held their first election for the chapter; Evan Adamou was elected chair, Lucas St George co-chair, and Alyssa Lavoie secretary. Congratulations to the new board– you will do an amazing job! Thank you to Marc and Amanda from the downtown chapter for helping out with our election.
Our FIRST chapter meeting will be November 12th, 6:30 PM at the Dalewood Recreation Centre (1152 Main St West) so save the date!
Finally, to our new members in West Hamilton / Dundas, welcome to ACORN. The people united will never be defeated.
