The members of the North Surrey and Newton chapters of ACORN have officially launched their campaign to improve safety in their communities.

The members of the North Surrey and Newton chapters of ACORN have officially launched their campaign to improve safety in their communities. The members held a press conference at the Chuck Bailey Recreation Center in Whalley to announce their support for the creation of a safe injection site for the community. 
 
The members will be holding a community forum to open a dialogue between Council and community members on the issue. The forum will take place on December the 8th, 6:30 in the evening at the City Center Library.
