ACORN a organisé une conférence de presse pour arrêter une rénoviction au 9208 rue Airlie. Le propriétaire essaie d’expulser 15 anciens locataires aux loyers bas sur un immeuble de 60 appartements pour augmenter leur loyer. Les locataires du 9208 ont partagé leurs histoires aux médias et les membres d’ACORN LaSalle étaient là pour les soutenir et s’interposer dans le cadre de la campagne Montréal Sain et Abordable.

ACORN held a press conference to stop a renoviction at 9208 Airlie Street in Montreal. The landlord is trying to evict 15 tenants with low rent from a building with 60 apartments to increase their rent. The tenants of 9208 shared their stories with the media and the members of ACORN LaSalle were there to support them and intervene, within the framework of the Healthy and Affordable Montreal campaign.
