Remembering Christine Neale – ACORN Hamilton Downtown Chair

With a heavy heart we are very sad to share that ACORN Hamilton’s downtown chair Christine Neale has passed away.

She was a fierce community leader and friend to many in the ACORN family and allies in Hamilton.

Christine joined ACORN in 2022 and was elected chair later that year. If you attended an ACORN event over the past couple of years, there was a good chance Christine was there – holding a sign, talking to the media, delegating or speaking at the event. She was the glue of our downtown chapter. In addition to chapter chair, she went out of her way to support ACORN’s efforts all over the city and was our Hamilton rep on the National Board.
