Mayor Olivia Chow Walk Through at 399 Markham Rd

On Tuesday September 30th over 50 ACORN members and tenants at 399 Markham Rd toured Mayor Olivia Chow around the building to see the disrepairs including leaks, holes in ceilings, and mold!

In attendance was a representative of Golden Equity, Scarborough Guildwood Councillor Paul Ainslie, and RentSafeTO. After hearing tenants’ stories and seeing units in disprepair the Mayor committed to getting action done in this building and in RentSafeTO.
