London ACORN Releases Affordable & Healthy City platform

Posted September 1, 2022

Yesterday, London ACORN released its Affordable & Healthy City platform. The platform covers the housing campaigns London ACORN has been fighting for, including the demand for a RentSafe program, a Rent Grant program, a strong Inclusionary Zoning policy, vacant unit tax and addressing chronic homelessness. The platform also calls on the city to ensure Londoners’ access to affordable reliable transit.

The forum was led by London ACORN leaders – Samantha Farrell, Nawton Chiles, Jordan Smith, Claire Witnebell and Betty Morrison.

The platform also saw speeches from our allies – Neighborhood Legal Services and Dirka Prout, social activist.
