London ACORN Confronts Arnsby Property Management Over Unsafe Conditions
Posted September 25, 2026

London ACORN gathered outside the offices of Arnsby Property Management at 924 Oxford St E to stand with tenant leaders Christina Bobb and Diane Carlton, who are demanding the company address serious problems in their building.
Diane, who has been fighting a cockroach infestation in her unit for months, brought physical evidence of the problem with her to the action – a stark reminder that “unresponsive landlord” isn’t an abstraction, it’s roaches in someone’s kitchen. Chris and Diane led the speakout, sharing their experiences with a management company that, members say, is as hard to reach as it is to hold accountable.
That point was proven in real time. Arnsby’s office is not wheelchair accessible, and despite members repeatedly ringing the buzzer to request that someone come down and accept a letter outlining tenants’ demands, no one did – even as staff could be seen watching from inside. Undeterred, members slid the letter through the building’s mail slot themselves before fanning out to flyer the surrounding area and hold honk signs, drawing a steady chorus of support from passing drivers.
London ACORN is calling on Arnsby Property Management to take tenants’ concerns seriously – starting with basic maintenance and pest control, and extending to making their own office accessible to the people they’re supposed to serve. Today’s action was a clear message: tenants are organized, and they aren’t going away.
