HRM ACORN goes all out on outreach!

HRM ACORN has been going all out and having fun with outreach this month! The campaign to ban fixed-term leases and the HRM tenant vote platform were at the forefront of our outreach efforts. The HRM mainland chapter tabled at the Fairview Farmers’ Market and the Ecology Action Centre’s Meet Your Candidates forum. You can be sure that both voters and municipal office candidates received an informative earful from our leadership. In the fight to ban fixed-term leases, NS ACORN has called on all organizations to join our campaign against this predatory practice that circumvents Nova Scotia’s rent cap.
