More than 45 community members and 9 Scarborough Southwest City Councillor candidates joined ACORN on Tuesday November 14th forScarborough ACORN’s Candidates Forum.
ACORN leaders Marva, Sheila, Bernadette, Hancy, and Thevaki spoke on Toronto ACORN’s campaigns for landlord licensing, affordable internet, and a maximum heat bylaw. 8 candidates signed on to support ACON’s platform. We will continue to keep up the pressure when a city councillor is elected November 30th!
