ACORN and MP Jenny Kwan Rally for Affordable Housing

On Tuesday, April 4th, Downtown Toronto ACORN gathered in St. Jamestown at 670 Parliament Street owned by Medallion Corporation. National Housing critic MP Jenny Kwan met with ACORN members on her national tour to pressure the federal government to regulate financialized landlords.
ACORN members are pressuring the federal government to regulate private landlords and REITS to keep rents affordable, buildings maintained, and keep (or get more) buildings owned by non-profit housing.
