Peel ACORN Anti-Renoviction Outreach at Mississauga City Hall!

ACORN members came together at our Anti-Renoviction Outreach Action to show landlords and City Hall that tenants won’t be pushed around. Landlords are using “renovations” as an excuse to evict tenants and hike rents, but our community isn’t backing down.
Our members did an incredible job with outreach and petitioning, and we sent a clear message to Mississauga City Hall when they come back this Fall with their report: we need a STRONG anti-renoviction bylaw with no loopholes.
