Peel ACORN had an awesome tenant speak out yesterday at the lobby of 100 Dundas St East in Mississauga, owned by Starlight Investments and managed by Forest Hill Kipling. Marcia Bryan, Peel ACORN leader led the meeting and mustered an amazing group of tenants to come out, share their issues and file complaints!
More than 25 people gathered, tenants filled work orders, and submitted complaints through the MARC program – Mississauga Apartment Rental Compliance Program. Tenants have a range of issues such as mice & cockroach infestation, no security, general lack of repair & maintenance work, etc.
Due to the complaints filed, a bylaw officer from the City of Mississauga is going to inspect Marcia’s unit.
