Ottawa Citizen: ACORN calls for federal government to raise their own minimum wage at rally

Ottawa and Gatineau ACORN members held a rally in downtown Ottawa for in their continued pursuit for a federal $15 per hour minimum wage for workers and contracted employees in the federal government.
ACORN – the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now – is attempting of have the matter of raising minimum wage to be a key issue with the federal election approaching.
About 40 people attended the rally near Parliament Hill.
