Mississauga Tenants Demand Healthy and Affordable Homes!

Posted April 3, 2017

Mississauga tenants at 100 Dundas Street East rallied over the weekend to oppose unfair treatment by building management.
Management has been neglecting repairs and cleaning and has been incessantly sending tenants notices of arrears for money that they do not owe. On top of this, management is applying for an above the guideline rent increase of 4.4%. 50 local residents came out to demand that the landlord withdraw the rent increase and start treating tenants with respect.
ACORN Mississauga is here to stay, and landlords better take notice and clean up their act.
