Join us Friday, March 16th for an exclusive sneak peek screening of The Organizer - an independent film about the growth of ACORN in the USA from the early 1970s to its demise in 2009 following vicious Republican attacks amidst internal turmoil. ACORN at its height had 100 offices and was the largest community based organization in the country. Despite this back in the US, ACORN has now grown internationally to a federation of national organizations spread around the globe. This film is about community organizing, collective action and the people who make things happen.

Friday, March 16th at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:00pm)

United Steelworkers Hall (25 Cecil St.) Toronto

Entrance by donation. Books will be on sale for $35 each or $25 for ACORN members.
