ACORN Landlord Licensing Campaign Launch! (Calgary)

Join ACORN as we officially launch our campaign for Landlord Licensing in Calgary! To run a any kind of business you need a license and for landlords it should be the same! Calgary needs Landlord licensing so that landlords would be forced to deal with issues like bugs, repairs and safety or face real consequences.

TRAVELING BY TRANSIT: Please visit Calgary Transit for the most up-to-date information. Buses stop at various points along 12th Avenue and along 1st Street. The C-train and many bus routes arrive on 1st Avenue and 7th Street SW which is a 5 block walk to CommunityWise. The Stampede/Victoria Park C-Train station is also a 6 block walk.

PARKING: Parking downtown can be a challenge. There is paid street parking on 12th Avenue and on nearby streets (no parking on 12th Avenue during rush hour 7:00-8:30 and 15:30-18:00). Street parking is free after 6 pm Monday – Saturday and free all day on Sundays. There is also an accessibility parking spot located directly in front of our building
