ACORN Ottawa: Central Ottawa Chapter Elections! Join us to Vote!

Join Central Ottawa ACORN Members Wed, Sept 28th from 6:30-8:30 for a chapter meeting where we'll be discussing neighbourhood and citywide campaigns on affordable housing, transit, internet for all and MORE!

But this is a SPECIAL meeting not to be missed! Not only will we be discussing and planning actions around the municipal election (click here for our platform called the Agenda for Change), we'll also be holding elections for a new chairperson for the chapter!

What to know about the elections:

To run for a position, nominate someone, and vote you HAVE TO BE AT THE MEETING

Training will be provided and there are no prerequisites or requirements to hold a leadership position EXCEPT...

Only full members (people who chip in $15/month or more in dues) can run and/or vote, so if you're not a full member and want to be, reply to this email!

Ce qu'il faut savoir sur les élections:

Pour postuler à un poste, nominez quelqu'un et votez, vous DEVEZ ÊTRE À LA RÉUNION

Une formation sera dispensée et il n'y a aucun prérequis ou exigence pour occuper un poste de direction SAUF...

Seuls les membres à part entière (ceux qui cotisent 15 $/mois ou plus en cotisation) peuvent se présenter et/ou voter, donc si vous n'êtes pas membre à part entière et que vous souhaitez l'être, répondez à cet e-mail!
