DESCRIPTION:\n \n \n \n The Federal government is currently de
veloping a NEW National Housing Strategy. This is
a real opportunity for Canada to reverse course on
many of the issues plaguing renters who are beari
ng the brunt of the housing crisis. 17+ organizati
ons have signed an open letter demanding transpare
ncy and public input from tenants.\n \n \n \n The
 National Housing Strategy (https://housing-infrast
 ructure.canada.ca/housing-logement/ptch-csd/index-
eng.html) (NHS) was created to "ensure everyone in
Canada has access to housing that meets their nee
ds and that they can afford." But since the start
 of the last NHS in 2017:\n \n  \n \n \n \n \n \n

new NHS are currently being done in secret and be
hind closed doors. Tenant groups have NOT been inv
