Last evening, ACORN board member Michelle Walrond, with Youth Engagement Coordinator and member Curtis Bulatovich, presented to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board regarding our Digital Access Campaign. Trustee Jennifer McKenzie put forward a motion on behalf of our members that passed for endorsement stating: "the Ottawa Carleton District School Board endorse ACORN's "Digital Access to Opportunities Campaign" to provide affordable and accessible internet and the associated connection devices to low income families."
