BC ACORN Takes Action for a Living Wage

Posted September 16, 2016

ACORN members in both Burnaby and Surrey turned out yesterday to help gather signatures for the Fight for 15. The actions took place to shame the BC Government for the insignificant increase to BC's minimum wage, which went from $10.45/hour to $10.85/hour. ACORN members know this is a slap in the face to the hard working low wage workers living in the most expensive province in Canada.
We will continue to stand in solidarity with our union allies until the workers in BC have a living wage!
