20 cents is nonsense! BC ACORN organizing for fair wages

Posted March 16, 2015

This past weekend BC ACORN members continued to put in some serious work on the "Fight for 15" campaign!  Burnaby ACORN member Morgan Sinclair did a fantastic job repping ACORN at the BC Fed's rally on Commercial Drive in Vancouver, speaking about the need to raise wages and do away with the 9 dollar per hour service wage.  Meanwhile, at Unifor Hall in New Westminster, over 2 dozen ACORN members and allies gathered to share experiences working for low wages and to plan out the next stages of the campaign.  BC ACORN members are determined to keep on fighting until everyone has a fair and livable wage!
